This book follows the exhibition that Helena Almeida held at Módulo in 1978. Published by the gallery itself, this publication functions both as a catalog of the series and as an artist's book, including, in addition to the images, only the technical information and a short text by the author: "To Try and open up a space, to get out at any cost, is a very strong feeling throughout my work. It has become a matter of condemnation and survival. I feel myself virtually always on the borderline, where these two spaces meet, wait, hesitate and quiver. It is a temptation to stop there and watch my inner process, living a dream with two directions. But this is unbearable and swiftly something comes out of me, as if I trying to surpass me. Anyway, I have suceeded to come through my fingertips."
